Privacy Policy

Actionorbit processes personal data carefully and appropriately for the provision of logistics, warehousing and 3PL services. This policy describes what data we collect, for what purposes the data is used, on what legal bases processing occurs, how long the data is retained, and what the rights of data subjects are and how they can be exercised. We comply with applicable legislation and relevant regulatory guidelines.

The data we collect may include basic information about customers and contact persons, such as name, contact details, job title and company information, contract and order information, billing and payment information, as well as log and tracking data related to the use of services. In transport and warehousing services, we additionally process sender and recipient information, timestamps, addresses and delivery instructions. Data may be collected directly from the data subject, from the customer's organisation, from public sources, and from technical events arising from the use of our services.

The legal basis for processing is primarily the performance of a contract and related measures, our legitimate interest in developing services and managing customer relationships, and, in certain situations, legal obligations, such as accounting or safety requirements. If we process data based on consent, consent is requested separately and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

Data is used for delivering services, managing orders and deliveries, customer communication, customer service, ensuring the quality and security of services, and reporting. Technical data is used to protect services, troubleshoot faults and monitor performance. We may produce aggregates and statistics in such a way that individuals cannot be identified.

Data is retained only as long as necessary for the defined purposes or as required by applicable law. Retention periods are defined per data category, taking into account the validity of contracts, accounting regulations, liability rules and possible complaint periods. Security is maintained through organisational and technical measures, such as access control, encryption, monitoring and backups. Access to data is granted only to those who need it for their duties.

We may use trusted service providers, such as transport and warehousing partners or IT suppliers. They process data only in accordance with our instructions and with safeguards set out in agreements. Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards and, where necessary, standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

Data subjects have the right to access their data, request rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and data portability when processing is based on consent or contract and carried out automatically. To exercise your rights, you can contact us using the details below. We aim to respond to requests without delay and within the timeframes required by law.

If processing is based on consent, you may withdraw your consent by notifying us. If you believe that your data has been processed in violation of applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. However, we recommend contacting us first so that we can resolve the matter in good cooperation.

This policy may be updated as services, legislation or practices change. We will notify you of material changes in an appropriate manner.
